Folks, we have a highly anticipated debut this week which I almost forgot about. It’s Okay It’s Love starts this Wednesday, and I think I’ve never seen Gong Hyo Jin look so beautiful.  Just look at her:

Two thumbs up for the show’s hair and make-up, though I have a feeling lip gloss will be slathered all over on Jo In Sung. I doubt I’ll watch this one live since I’m hooked on Fated To Love You, but still…the pretty will be a powerful pull in this one. And not just with the actors too–I drool at all the frolicking under the Okinawa sunshine.    Continue reading

1. I’m not entirely sure what this teaser has to do with the drama itself about a student living a double life as his older bro, but heck, if Seo In Guk and Lee Ha Na do any of this in High School King, I’m so there. Wiggle and shimmy all you want Seo In Guk. Especially in that suit.

Review: Nine (2013, tvN)

The premise: Time-travelling incense sticks land in an intrepid reporter’s hands, allowing him to try to alter his family’s tragic history. Does he succeed?

In a word, no. Or yes? It depends? Gosh, I’m not sure, because what seemed at the outset like a thrilling ride left me thoroughly confused.

Is it a revenge thriller? A crime mystery? Fantasy romance drama? It’s all of the above, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But by having to juggle all these different balls in the air  the show gets bogged down by convoluted plot turns. Continue reading
